Dane Chapman

Dane Chapman, from Brookston, Indiana, graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Agribusiness and later an MBA from Harvard Business School.

With his passion for food, agriculture, and entrepreneurship, Dane began working with Egglife Foods, an innovative food start-up where he served as the Head of Retail Excellence & Sales Operations, helping grow the business from ~300 to ~12k retail locations across North America.

His experience with entrepreneurship and investment banking at J.P. Morgan, combined with his belief in the strength of rural America’s economy, led him to co-found SPARK Capital with his former colleague, Joe Rust.

SPARK Capital is a $10 million committed capital fund that invests in rural Indiana businesses, with a focus on growing the business, keeping jobs local, and the communities they operate in vibrant.
